The 62-year-old was allegedly sent to stay with her family by the shooter shortly before the massacre.

Danley was not arrested on her arrival at Las Vegas airport, but agents were expected to speak to her in an attempt to discover what led Paddock to carry out the worst mass shooting in American history.

- She loved Paddock and knew him as a kind and caring man. "I have a clean conscience".

She boarded a flight from Manila to Los Angeles on Tuesday, according to Antonette Mangrobang, a spokeswoman for the Philippine Immigration Bureau.

According to CNN, Danley landed in Los Angeles, Calif., on Tuesday evening (Oct. 3), after flying back from Manila, in the Philippines.

The source, which the publication described as not being "directly involved in the investigation", said Paddock rented a series of condos overlooking the festival.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's Sheriff Joseph Lombardo said, "I anticipate he was looking for anybody coming to take him into custody". "Currently she is a person of interest". Danley traveled with an Australian passport.

One sister tearfully said: "I know that she don't know anything".

"She was sent away".

"It never occurred to me in any way whatsoever that he was planning violence against anyone", she added.

"Here's the reason why: Put two and two together". No one except Marilou because Steve is not here to talk anymore.

Danley had been married for 25 years before jointly filing for divorce with her husband, Geary Danley, in 2015, the Reno Gazette-Journal reported, citing interviews with friends of Danley. She officially filed for divorce in 2015. A federal official said that she was supposed to be questioned about her arrival in the United States.

Police also found 50 pounds of explosives and 1,600 rounds of ammunition in his vehicle in the Mandalay Bay hotel parking lot, according to Lombardo.

Police say Paddock carefully planned the attack as he had not only stockpiled weapons in his room, but had set up cameras in the peephole and on a storage cart in the hallway of his 32nd floor hotel room.

USA Today reports Danley was born in the Philippines and moved to Queensland in eastern Australia during the early 1980s. She flew from Manila to Hong Kong on September 22 and returned to Manila on September 25 before flying to Los Angeles Tuesday.
