Tyrese Gibson calls out Dwyane Johnson over 'Fast and Furious' delay

The film is said to premiere on April 10, 2020, a year after its initial release date after being pushed back by Universal.

The studio did not disclose the reason for the shift, which was announced on Wednesday.

The ninth film was originally scheduled to debut April 19, 2019.

Tyrese Gibson is still furious with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson for allegedly messing up the release schedule for "Fast and Furious 9", and has once again taken to Instagram to vent his frustrations. #NoShaw just Hobbs will this be another #BayWatch? "I'm just a passionate film critic".

Fans of the "Fast & the Furious" franchise will have to wait another year for the next movie in the speedy series.

The series has also continued to attract big names such as Dwayne Johnson, Helen Mirren and Charlize Theron.

There has been talk of a spinoff with Johnson and Jason Statham, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

More on the movie as we hear it.

This isn't the first time Gibson has used his Instagram to attack his co-star.

Presumably, Gibson felt the need to include that stipulation because he has deleted Instagram posts about Johnson in the past.

In another deleted comment, he continued, "I have never and will never have a problem with this major movie star he's my brother".

Nice to know that we don't even need a Fast and Furious movie on the immediate horizon to enjoy some Fast and Furious dude drama. "It's because we announced and KEPT our release date bro", he wrote.
