New accuser says filmmaker Roman Polanski raped her as teen

Polanski was charged with a number of felonies but saw charges dropped as part of plea bargain that had him plead guilty to unlawful sex with a minor and led to a stint in jail. However, the paper notes that Swiss law "limits prosecution in cases that happened many years ago".

Police in St Gallen confirmed that they met with Ms Langer on September 26 and told the New York Times that another office would decide whether she can make a criminal complaint against Polanski, 84.

Langer said Polanski raped her again in Rome while she was filming for his movie "Che?". She said that she had come out of her silence following statements of "Robin" in August, and because her parents were no longer alive.

When asked by the New York Times why she did not report the matter earlier, she explained: "My mother would have had a heart attack". I felt ashamed and embarrassed and lost....

In August, a woman identified as Robin, told journalists in Los Angeles that Polanski had "sexually victimized" her in 1973, when she was 16.

Former German actress Renata Langer accused Roman Polanski of raping her almost half a century ago.

French lawyer Herve Temime, who represents the French-Polish filmmaker, told the AP that he plans to discuss the allegations with Polanski, but had not yet spoken to him.

In 2010, British actress Charlotte Lewis said Polanksi sexually assaulted her in 1983 when she was a teenager - a claim which Polanski's lawyers have rejected as a lie.

"As far as what I did: It's over".

However, he fled the United States before he could be sentenced and remains a fugitive. Attracted by the possibility of a casting, it would have made a visit to the director of Rosemary's baby and Chinatown in his home in Gstaad where he allegedly raped her. I then was locked up here [in Zurich] after this festival. I pleaded guilty. I went to jail. Polanski is still a fugitive from the USA justice system. "So in the sum, I did about four or five times more than what was promised to me", noted Polanski.

Polanski said he is particularly proud of it because it marks the first time that he, as a director, has focused on a story that explores the inner lives of two women and their conflict with each other.
