Polanski was charged with a number of felonies but saw charges dropped as part of plea bargain that had him plead guilty to unlawful sex with a minor and led to a stint in jail. However, the paper notes that Swiss law "limits prosecution in cases that happened many years ago".
Langer said Polanski raped her again in Rome while she was filming for his movie "Che?". She said that she had come out of her silence following statements of "Robin" in August, and because her parents were no longer alive.
