Paddock was using some of Danley's identification, but they do not believe she was involved in the shooting, Lombardo said.
"Given the local authorities are still investigating the incident, we can not comment further on these reports".
There were also reports that Danley was on vacation in Japan when the Las Vegas shooting happened.
United States reports say that on top of his divorce proceedings, Stephen Paddock had a gambling problem.
