After going days without mentioning Puerto Rico following Maria, however, administration officials have attempted to play catchup, holding numerous press conferences to describe their relief efforts; Trump now manages to get in a mention of Puerto Rico at almost every public event.

Trump was scheduled to speak by telephone to the governor of Puerto Rico, Ricardo Rossello, and other officials from the region on Saturday.

"General Buchanan, a three-star general, has said that he doesn't have enough troops and he doesn't have enough equipment", the mayor commented, adding, "So who am I?" "We will not rest, however, until the people of Puerto Rico are safe".

On Saturday, she responded to Trump's tweeted comments, saying, "It's not about politics, it's not about petty comments, it's about moving forward, putting boots on the ground and saving lives". The boy had a message for Trump. They have put their backs towards the rights of Puerto Rican people, and they can not move forward an agenda which will help the development of the Puerto Rican economy.
