Taylor Swift sends flowers to Cardi B for hitting No. 1 spot

The snippet finds Cardi talking down to all of her perceived doubters, but she's been getting a lot of love as of late.

It was nothing short of an uphill battle for "Bodak Yellow", as emerging rap artist Cardi B was up against music giants like Swift and Justin Bieber with his remix of "Despacito".

"I really, really like Cardi B", she said in the interview. "Thank you @taylorswift for the flowers", Cardi wrote on Instagram.

What is impressive is the fact that Cardi B's full album has yet to be released.

Congrats to Cardi B!

I think what we're misinterpreting is the people taking a knee, that feel the need to protest, that's exactly what they're doing. "I'm a firm believer that you have to stand or sit for what you believe", he said on CNN .

If you didn't know Cardi's "Bodak Yellow" assisted her in making history, you've been under a rock. I like that damn song. "And now I'm a fan of Cardi B's music and her personality".

The 24-year-old rapper knocked Swift's single "Look What You Made Me Do" off the top spot of the Billboard charts with her new hit single 'Bodak Yellow'.

Others, however, haven't been as gracious about the new queen in town.

"I'm sorry. Black industry men are too hype for this Latina girl I've never seen them jump like this for Remy (Ma) or Nicki (Minaj)", Banks wrote. "They're like, exocticizing you ... the men in hip-hop just kinda fuckin' hate themselves more than they hate black women". It's alright o. Maybe soon just like Nicki Minaj, Azealia would be twitting lovely things about Cardi baby. Who doesn't want a bouquet of flowers from the songstress?

However, not everyone was pleased with Cardi's success. And another thing we love about the Bronx native? But we've got to do better.
