Even though they just announced the real score of their relationship, CNN reported that the couple had broken up in February. The timing meant Fergie, 42, and Duhamel, 44, had to respond to questions about each other when in public as though they were still together.
According to a source close to the actor, the singer-songwriter's "partying" was to blame.
They added that their marriage dissolved over the course of about a year, in spite of trying couples' therapy. Going to marriage counseling also didn't help solve their marital issues.
Fergie's visual album, which just dropped on September 22, is aptly titled Double Duchess: Seeing Double. However, they chose to finally do it because the questions that she kept on getting from the press just made her lose focus in promoting her new album, "Double Dutchess".
However, it's taken her more than a decade to release her follow-up solo record, Double Dutchess, which she's putting out via her own recently-established label Dutchess Music. Fergie released a music video for her song "Enchante", which stars Kendall Jenner!
