21-year-old Gazanfar Ahmad, a resident of Banihal and a third year student at a college in Anantnag and 25-year-old Arif, another Banihal resident have been arrested.
Police on Friday attributed the September 20 terror attack on a Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) camp to the radicalisation of two local students at Kashmir's Anantnag degree college.
"I am happy to announce that within 30 hours we have been able to arrest both the people involved in this attack, both the weapons snatched from SSB personnel have been recovered", said SDS Jamwal, Inspector General Jammu.

The arrested duo, he said, have told police that the pistol with which they had attacked the SSB men was lying with Aqib.
"The militants also snatched an INSAS Rifle and AR-41 Rifle from them", claimed the SSB.

Initially police suspected the incident was a case of fratricide.
Head Constable Ram Pravesh was martyred in the attack and ASI Shyam Sood was seriously injured.
Blaming radicalisation for the youth going "astray", Lal said, "They were radicalised on social media. The terrorists have been handed over to the police and hunt for Aquib is presently on", the Indian Army said.
Timely action of police has prevented them to get further radicalised while they will be punished as per the law.
The police officer said the attackers will be dealt as per the provisions of law, without leniency.
