Huawei counting on resellers in public cloud battleground

For Connect 2017 Huawei promised to focus on the practical implementation of its cloud plans, which it said centre on providing technology and services rather than trying to analyse customers' data itself.

"In the future, we predict there will be five major clouds in the world".

Huawei and Microsoft are expanding their cloud strategies by signing a strategic memorandum of understanding on cloud services.

Four cloud alliance partners were featured: BT, DT, Orange and Telefónica. Facing promising prospects in the global market, both companies will jointly carry out market expansion and marketing activities on schedule. Although Huawei is already providing Windows Server and Microsoft RDS for SQL Server, Microsoft at the moment is not detailing which specific enterprise apps will be coming to the HUAWEI CLOUD in the months ahead.
