Madonna announces she's moved to Portugal

"The energy of Portugal is so inspiring!" she captioned the first post.

It looks like Madonna is ready for a new chapter in her life. The famous singer also added that it is now time for her to conquer the world from a different vantage point.

Madonna is out of the U.S. The musician informed her fans on social media that she's relocated to Portugal for the foreseeable future.

In the second post, the seven-time Grammy victor showed off baskets hanging from the ceiling of a kitchen. "I used to be a basket case but now I live in Lisbon!" she wrote in the caption.

Sometimes you need a change of scenery to stay inspired, which might be why the "Vogue" singer up and moved to Lisbon, the coastal capital of Portugal. Her studio album before that, 2012's "MDNA", reached No. 1.

Specifically, a source close to her exGuy Ritchiesaid that their son Rocco got very upset with her while they were on her Rebel Heart tour. She traveled the world starting September 2015 and wrapped it up in March 2016.

It will be her next project after she made her last directorial movie in 2011. Madonna previously shared that her "Loved" movie project is a film which will tackle great and important topics in the society. "Loved" is adapted from Andrew Sean Greer's novel "The Impossible Lives of Greta Wells" about a woman who finds herself transported to the past. Madonna also co-wrote the screenplay. "Right now, more than ever, it's an extremely timely story to tell".
